Mobile app development

One codebase, both stores, no compromise on feel.Cross-platform iOS and Android apps built with React Native and Flutter, plus native modules wherever the experience demands it.

Building separate iOS and Android teams doubles your cost and guarantees the two apps drift apart. Cross-platform frameworks solved that problem years ago — the catch is that they only work well when someone knows where the framework ends and native code has to begin.

ByteCrux builds mobile apps in React Native and Flutter, sharing the vast majority of logic across platforms while dropping into Swift or Kotlin for the parts that genuinely need it: background location, Bluetooth peripherals, heavy camera work, platform-specific widgets.

We handle the unglamorous parts too — provisioning profiles, signing certificates, store listings, review rejections, staged rollouts and crash monitoring. Getting an app built is roughly half the job; getting it approved, published and updated reliably is the other half.

What you get

  • 60fps interactions and cold starts under two seconds
  • One codebase to maintain instead of two diverging ones
  • Automated builds and store submission via CI
  • Crash-free session rates tracked from day one

Capabilities

Mobile apps we deliver

The concrete pieces of work an engagement is made of.

Cross-platform apps

A single React Native or Flutter codebase producing genuinely native iOS and Android builds, with shared business logic and platform-appropriate UI.

Offline-first architecture

Local persistence and conflict-aware sync so field teams and commuters keep working when the network does not.

Push notifications & deep links

Segmented push campaigns, in-app messaging and universal links that open the right screen from an email, SMS or ad.

Payments & subscriptions

Razorpay, Stripe and in-app purchase flows, including subscription lifecycle handling and receipt validation on the server.

App Store & Play Store release

Store listings, screenshots, privacy declarations, phased rollout and the review-rejection cycle handled on your behalf.

Analytics & crash reporting

Funnel instrumentation, Sentry crash tracking and release health dashboards, so decisions come from data rather than opinion.

FAQ

Mobile apps — common questions

Straight answers on timelines, cost and ownership.

Should I choose React Native or Flutter?

React Native suits teams already invested in JavaScript or TypeScript and products that share logic with a web app. Flutter tends to win when the interface is highly custom and animation-heavy. We recommend one after understanding your product and your team, not as a default.

Will a cross-platform app feel as good as a native one?

For the overwhelming majority of products, yes — users cannot tell. The exceptions are apps built around sustained heavy graphics, intensive real-time camera processing or deep OS integration. We will tell you plainly during discovery if your product is one of those cases.

Do you publish the app to the App Store and Play Store?

Yes. We set up developer accounts under your ownership, prepare listings and assets, submit the builds and manage the review process including any rejections. The accounts remain yours throughout.

Can you take over an existing mobile app?

We regularly inherit apps. The engagement starts with an audit covering dependency health, build reproducibility, crash rates and store compliance, followed by a prioritised plan to stabilise before adding features.
